At Imagineer, we are working towards a world where all people are free to make their own choices, express their individuality and pursue their dreams to live the life that they want to lead. We believe that everyone should be treated equally, and have the same opportunity to participate in, belong and contribute to their local communities. We do not simply believe that people should ‘manage’, ‘cope’ and ‘survive’ with their life circumstances; we believe that they should thrive. This is a big vision, and much of it rests with local communities, so we work primarily with people to focus on their relational networks and community connections as a starting point.

As skilled and experienced practitioners we are here to provide advice, information, guidance, training and mentoring for the further implementation, innovation and development of self-directed support and Support Brokerage across the UK. 

Our work is helping to demonstrate the true value of self-directed support and how Independent Support Brokerage plays a fundamental part in realising this. 

Our name ‘Imagineer’ was chosen because of what it represents: to use your imagination to think about what is possible and then to engage with people’s skills, knowledge, connections and resources to engineer the way to make those ideas become reality.
