Nick Beanland

Director Of Imagineer

I am a Yorkshire lad, lived in North Yorkshire for most of my life with my family, I have a busy and active life, which my love for running, cycling and swimming; I play in a Scottish & Irish Reel band and love a good meal with friends and family.

I have worked in both the voluntary (not for profit) and statutory sectors for over 35 years mainly in the health service, community and youth work settings, social services, homelessness, prison and social housing settings. I am a board member of a community college and of Imagineer CIC.

I am now self-employed working in the community with mainly voluntary and social enterprise organisations; delivering funding packages, business development and mentoring support, option and feasibility studies, community consultation and empowerment, chair meetings with social housing tenants and officers, project manage mystery shopping and scrutiny panels. I deliver a number of training courses.  I love making a real difference working with communities, enabling them to dare to believe and learn new skills and achieve their aspirations.
